Volunteer Biographers was chosen this month by KindSpring.org as "Idea of the Month!" We just opened our doors. I am so excited about this new endeavor.

We met with friends and discussed ideas for moving forward. Our friend Steve's father wrote a biography for the family but it stopped when his father met his mother just after WWII. Steve's wife Karen suggested she might ask her mother to be the first person asked to participate in VB-DE

QUESTIONNAIRE
After speaking with my husband and our friends, I am currently working on a list of questions. We decided that the best questions would include not just boilerplate questions but also those submitted by family members.

PORTABLE RECORDING DEVICE
I am looking for inexpensive portable recording device. Right now I have a mic and my computer which works fine but may be a little awkward for seniors to handle.

LOGO-BADGES
I am making Badges and creating a VB-DE logo.

BOOK TITLE PAGES
Each book will have an artistic page either in black and white or color.

KEY FOBS
We will include both a printed copy as well as all data from interviews, question answers and the entire book on a portable memory device, a key fob, for each family.
